Dr. Ooi Chee Hong is a board-certified veterinarian at the centre. He completed his Dermatology ESVAS (European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies) in the year 2014-2018. He is our Dermatology and Haematology reference with various skin cases on dogs and cats under his belt.

As our facility is equipped with advanced ultrasound equipment, he is also the referral for diagnostic ultrasonography and echocardiology. With his extensive experience in internal medicine, he can determine the condition of your fur kids and diagnose more thoroughly for the sake of their health.

Dr. Ooi is also excellent in Alternative Veterinary Medicine practice. If you are interested, he can offer you the integrated Veterinary Medicine in Herbology approach (Herbal medicine - Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda). If you are looking for Veterinary Acupuncture, he is the one you can look for as he can combine physiotherapy treatment and laser therapy treatment exclusively. Dr. Syahar joined our centre as a Senior Veterinarian in 2021. He previously worked as a Zoo Veterinarian at various parks namely Underwater World Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Langkawi Wildlife Park and A Farmosa Safari, with extensive exposure on wildlife or exotic species for most of his career.

Throughout his journey, he has published abstract papers to discuss his studies and findings of the species that he worked with, both nationally and internationally. He was also an Animal Laboratory Veterinarian at University Malaya and My Bioscience Lab, which focused on rodents such as mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits.

While he worked in Universiti Putra Malaysia as a Wildlife Conservation Tutor and researcher, he did a genetic study on wild red jungle fowl. Don't be surprised if he asks you about your cat or dog breed as he has a very strong interest in exploring animal behavior, animal nutrition and animal theriogenology. DR. ZAMRI BIN ZAINIR

Dr. Zamri joined our centre as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2021. He upgrading his veterinary skill in various animal species and industries in Malaysia since 2008.

His enthusiasm towards the small animal practice brings him back to this industry after a long practice in livestock and animal R&D. He also has significant experience in small animal practice in his career. Throughout his years working with small animals, Dr. Zamri developed an interest in minimally invasive diagnostic and surgical procedures such as endoscopy and laparoscopy (keyhole surgery), complicated surgery such as tumorectomy, orthopedics and ophthalmology. Dr. Tan attended Bogor Agricultural University, Bogor, Indonesia for her foundation and undergraduate studies. She graduated and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2021. She joined our centre soon after her graduation. Her special interests include internal medicine and diagnostic radiography. She enjoys following through her cases and partnering with owners to find the best treatment plan for their pets. She is passionate about animal health and welfare, always calming and relaxing them while checking them over.

DR. YOGAPRIYA CHANDRASEGARAN

Dr. Yogapriya Chandrasegaran obtained her Degree in Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2017. She kicked off her career volunteering with an NGO in Penang for 2 months before joining as a junior veterinarian working on rotation at Neko Inu Veterinary Clinic, Penang & Schrodinger Veterinary Clinic, Kedah for about a year. She also has a special interest in animal welfare & stray population management. Thus, she regularly joined the monthly Trap Neuter Release Management Programs (TNRM) in cat & dogs’ neutering program in Muar, Johor Bharu, and Malacca, at which she and her team would have 100+ cats and 40+ dogs to neuter every day. Wanting to do more in soft tissue surgeries, she then joined Klinik Haiwan Bentong in 2021. Dr. Yogapriya is keen on exploring more in soft tissue surgeries and radiography. Currently, she joined our centre as a Veterinary surgeon in 2022 where she believes she can bloom to become a good vet to serve the community better.
